Monthly Meetings
We meet every month except July and August. Most of our meetings are held in a studio setting in Biddeford, Maine where we participate in a variety of fun and engaging classes. Some of our classes are offered via zoom allowing members who cannot attend in person the chance to participate. Each class brings the opportunity to learn something new, hone skills, and create something you will love.
Field Trips
Our occasional trips to art museums, historic properties, and other places of interest are always a highlight. Past trips include visits to Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Hamilton House, Beauport-the Sleeper-McCann House, Museum of Russian Icons, and St Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.
Conventions
Twice per year HSEAD hosts conventions and we love to attend! The annual Spring Exhibition includes a display of members' judged painted pieces and many Stevens Plains members have received awards for their beautiful artwork. Each Fall HSEAD hosts a three-day workshop meeting where members may choose from a variety of classes taught by well-known masters in their field. Our members attend and even teach!
